Movie Night: David

Movie Night: David

From the songs of his mother's heart to the whispers of a faithful God, David's story begins in quiet devotion. When the giant Goliath rises to terrorize a nation, a young shepherd armed with only a sling, a few stones, and unshakable faith steps forward. Pursued by power and driven by purpose, his journey tests the limits of loyalty, love, and courage--culminating in a battle not just for a crown, but for the soul of a kingdom.

Seats are free, but reservations are required, so be sure to save your spot in advance. We’ll have multiple theaters available, making this a great night to bring friends and family - there’s plenty of room for everyone. Join us for one of two showings on Friday, March 13 at 4:00 PM or 7:00 PM, and enjoy popcorn, candy, and drinks available for a freewill donation.

Easter Services

On Easter, His tomb was found empty, and He appeared alive to His followers. The resurrection is the foundation of our faith, because it represents victory over sin and death and offers the promise of new life. Easter is therefore the most joyful and hopeful day in the Christian year.

We hope you’ll celebrate this wonderful occasion with us at services on Saturday, April 4, at 4:00 PM (processional communion) or Sunday, April 5, at 7:30 AM, 9:00 AM, or 11:00 AM (cup communion).

Taken together, Holy Week invites you into a story that moves from celebration, to love and service, to suffering and sacrifice, and finally to renewal and hope. If you’re new to Christianity, this week gives you a clear window into what we believe about Jesus: that He came humbly, loved deeply, gave His life for others, and rose again. It’s not just a set of historical events, but an invitation to consider what His life, death, and resurrection might mean for you personally; offering forgiveness, purpose, and the possibility of new life.

Good Friday Services

Good Friday Services

Good Friday commemorates the day Jesus was arrested, put on trial, and executed by crucifixion. Although it is a somber day marked by reflection and sorrow, we call it “Good” because we believe Jesus’ death had a redemptive purpose. We believe He willingly gave His life to deal with sin and to restore humanity’s relationship with God. The crucifixion is seen as the ultimate act of sacrificial love. Join us at Riverstone on Friday, April 3 at 5:30 or 7:00 PM for processional communion services with our community church family.

Journey to The Cross
Apr

Journey to The Cross

Later in the week comes Maundy Thursday. On this day, we remember the Last Supper, the final meal Jesus shared with his disciples. During that meal, He broke bread and shared wine, telling his followers to continue doing this in remembrance of him. This event is the foundation of the communion. At the same meal, Jesus washed His disciples’ feet, taking the role of a servant to demonstrate humility and love. He also gave them a new commandment: to love one another as he had loved them.

We’ll spend this Maundy Thursday celebrating Journey to the Cross, a newly re-imagined, immersive worship experience at New Song Church with our Community Church family at 6:30 PM on Thursday, April 2. Kids care for nursery - preschool will be provided, so be sure to arrive early if you plan to check kids in.

Palm Sunday Services

Holy Week starts with Palm Sunday, which remembers Jesus entering the city of Jerusalem. According to the Gospels, He rode in on a donkey while crowds waved palm branches and shouted praises, welcoming Him as a king. The donkey symbolized peace rather than military power, and the crowd’s excitement reflected their hope that Jesus would bring salvation. Palm Sunday marks the beginning of the final stretch of events that would lead to his crucifixion. Join us at Riverstone on Sunday, March 29 as we celebrate this triumphant entry to Jerusalem!

Movie Night: A Man Called Otto

Movie Night: A Man Called Otto

Otto Anderson is a grump who no longer sees purpose in his life following the loss of his wife. Otto is ready to end it all, but his final exit plans are interrupted when a lively young family moves in next door, where he meets his match in quick-witted Marisol. She challenges him to see life differently, leading to an unlikely friendship that turns his world around. A heartwarming and funny story about love, loss, and life, A Man Called Otto shows that family can sometimes be found in the most unexpected places.

PLEASE NOTE: While the movie ultimately carries a hopeful and uplifting message, it includes multiple depictions of suicide attempts that are interrupted. These scenes may be distressing or triggering for some viewers, particularly those who have been personally affected by suicide, depression, or loss.

Please take care of yourself and step away if needed.

If you or someone you know is struggling, you can call or text 988 in the United States to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or chat via 988lifeline.org.

Movie Night seats are free, but reservations are required, so be sure to save your spot in advance. Join us for one of two showings on Friday, March 13 at 4:00 PM or 7:00 PM, and enjoy popcorn, candy, and drinks available for a freewill donation.

Save the date for our next movie night on April 10, 2026 - we’re showing the brand new family friendly feature length film: David!

Snow Fest (3rd - 6th Grade Winter Retreat)

At Riverstone Church we believe that retreats are more than just weekends away; they’re moments that shape hearts. These adventures matter more than you can imagine! Snow Fest is a winter retreat for kids in 3rd through 6th grade where campers laugh together, dig into God’s Word, and discover that these shared adventures and honest faith conversations build connections that last far beyond the snow.

Join us for a winter weekend packed with tubing, ice skating, skits, carpetball, and so much more! In between the fun, we’ll gather for meaningful sessions, worship, and small group discussions designed to help kids grow deeper in their relationship with Christ and with one another.

Dates: February 20–22, 2026

Ages: 3rd-6th Grade

Price: $170/person ($195 after February 6)
Non-Refundable Deposit Due on Registration: $50
Full Payment Due: January 7, 2026

What You Can Expect
Camp staff will be there to hang out with you, bringing great food, great fun, and all your favorite winter activities - from tubing and ice skating to hilarious skits and games. We’ll pause from the busyness of life to focus on what truly matters: growing in faith, building friendships, and finding joy in God’s creation.

What To Bring
Campers should bring their luggage as well as medications and any electronics (phones, ipods, tablets, smart watches, etc.) to turn in when they check-in.

If your camper is bringing medication to camp, they will need to fill out a medication information form. To streamline the registration process, we ask that all forms are completed prior to arrival at camp. Please put completed forms, along with all medication, in a ziploc bag with the camper's name on it. At registration, the ziploc bag will be turned in to the first aid staff who will store and administer medication as indicated on the form. At the end of the camp, any leftover medication will be returned to the camper.

The camp gift shop will be open a couple of times during the weekend. If campers would like to purchase snacks, t-shirts, etc., they should bring money for the store.
