We believe that discipleship is a journey—one of growing deeper in our relationship with God, strengthening our understanding of His Word, and equipping ourselves to live out our faith daily. Whether you’re a new believer seeking foundational knowledge or a mature Christian looking to deepen your faith, our classes provide opportunities to grow spiritually, build community, and be equipped to live out your faith in your everyday life.

Alpha & alpha youth
Alpha led by Pastors Sam Coleman & Matt Anderson
Alpha youth led by maggie portra
Have you ever had life-questions you didn’t feel safe asking? Wondered what faith actually means for you? Felt like something is missing in the routine, but don’t know what? Alpha is our invitation to step into honest conversations in a safe place. Beginning Monday, October 6 from 6:30-8:00 PM, we’ll meet to explore life, faith, and meaning together. Books are available for $10 each.
Why You Should Be Part of This
A place for honest questions. No judgments. No expectations. Alpha invites you to bring your doubts, your hardest questions - “What’s the purpose of life?” “Does God really care?” - and explore them in a caring environment.
Meaningful connection. We start each evening by simply being together—sharing food or snack, conversation, laughter. It’s about real people with real lives, not perfect ones. You’ll build friendships and feel less alone.
Discover or deepen faith. Whether you’ve never believed, are questioning your faith, or simply want to get back to basics, Alpha is for you. It covers core Christian beliefs in accessible ways, giving space to think, ask, and grow.
Everyone is welcome. Alpha’s strength is that it doesn’t require you to have all the answers or be “good enough.” Everyone, no matter your background, beliefs, or where you are on your faith journey, has a seat at the table.
ALPHA Youth. While adults are gathered together to explore the basics of Christianity through Alpha, we’ll also be offering ALPHA Youth in The Gathering Place. This content and discussion is geared towards students in grades 6-12. Alpha Youth is a new way for young people to explore life, faith and purpose. Made for this generation, the new series creatively unpacks the real questions young people have. The series introduces and explores the core ideas of the Christian faith, in a relevant and engaging way.
What to Expect
Weekly meetings led by Pastor Sam & Pastor Matt: Mondays, 6:30 - 8:00 PM, starting October 6.
$10 book per person to guide our journey together.
Discussion hosted in small groups so you can talk, listen, share. No pressure, just a chance to think out loud.
Friendly atmosphere of openness, respect, and care.
If you’ve ever felt alone in your faith questions, or felt disconnected from the deeper meaning life offers, this is for you. If you think you don’t need something like this, maybe Alpha will surprise you, by helping to deepen your faith, enrich your relationships, and give you tools to live more grounded, hopeful, connected.
We believe Alpha won’t just change lives, it will change our church as we journey together. Will you be with us?

The Ruthless Elimination of hurry
Led by Tania Tschaekofske
MONDAYS | 6:30-8:00 PM | Overflow
“Who am I becoming?” That was the unsettling question nagging pastor and author John Mark Comer. On the outside, his life looked full and successful—he was leading a growing church, writing books, and checking all the boxes of achievement. But inwardly, things weren’t so pretty. Exhaustion, distraction, and a restless soul were taking their toll. In his search for wisdom, he turned to a trusted mentor for guidance. The advice he received was both startlingly simple and profoundly challenging: “Ruthlessly eliminate hurry from your life. Hurry is the great enemy of the spiritual life.”
It wasn’t the answer he expected, but it was the one he most needed. And it’s still the answer he returns to again and again. In our modern world, we often treat only the symptoms of our exhaustion and anxiety, trying to cope with stress, burnout, and fractured attention, without ever addressing the deeper cause. A growing number of voices, Comer among them, are pointing to hurry, distraction, and busyness as the hidden root of much of our struggle. Within the pages of this book, you’ll discover a compelling roadmap for learning to slow down, live with intention, and stay emotionally healthy and spiritually alive in the chaos of modern life.
This study, led by Tania Tschaekofske, is open to men and women of all ages who are longing for a better way. The book is available for $15 with registration or in person at the first class. Exact cash or check only.
