Weddings at Riverstone Church
Riverstone pastors and staff require advance notice of your plans to marry. Initial scheduling requests can be made by filling out the form below. Our staff will contact you if more information is needed and/or to confirm availability on your requested date(s). Your request will not be reserved until you receive confirmation and make the required deposit of $100.
Please note the following:
Premarital counseling with the officiating pastor is required
Deposits are non-refundable
Full payment must be made one week prior to the ceremony
Weddings are not performed during holidays or other church events

Premarital counseling is mandatory for all weddings. The cost of materials for this program is $35 and not included in any other fee schedules. Please contact the office to schedule your first appointment.
Premarital counseling includes 3-4 sessions.

The pastor’s availability will be determined upon receipt of the form information below.
Outside pastors are welcome to use our facility to perform weddings as long as they are ordained, serving in, or retired from a Christian church. That pastor will engage the couple in premarital counseling sessions.

Your choice of music should reflect the dignity and spiritual importance of marriage.
Music and associated fees are the responsibility of the wedding couple. Music may be live or recorded.

The capacity of the fellowship area is 65. The bride and anyone assisting in the planning of your reception should meet with the staff to plan the event details. The staff will have ideas and suggestions and will be available to answer questions before the wedding.

The entire wedding party should be on time and present at the rehearsal including.
The officiating pastor is in charge of the rehearsal. They will explain where everyone stands and what to do, followed by a practice ceremony. It is very important that all participants attend. A member of staff will be there to assist and answer questions.

Our sanctuary can accommodate approximately 300 people. There are a few guidelines for facility use that wedding groups are expected to follow:
Do not fasten decorations to any surface with nails, staples, screws, clamps, etc.
Do not use safety pins on the chairs.
Do not move permanent fixtures. You must provide your own candles & floral arrangement stands
The church office is not responsible for preparing or printing wedding programs, however the pastor will provide the order of service.
Report all accidents, spills, or breakage in the church to the pastor or staff. You are responsible for replacement or repair costs.
Decorations need to be removed immediately. Please do not leave any decorations, food, or gifts in the church overnight.
Do not leave valuables unattended. Riverstone will not be responsible for missing, lost, or stolen items.

You may not throw rice or other objects such as glitter, or confetti inside the building.
It is the responsibility of the bride and groom to inform the wedding party and family about these guidelines.

All food must be catered into the facility. We do not have extra fridge or freezer space to store food items in advance or following the event.

THE USE OF ALCOHOL IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED ON THE CHURCH PREMISES.

A church wedding requires staff, pastors, and other assistance in addition to your dress, food, invitations, decorations, etc. The church will provide a contact person from staff when you schedule your wedding date. All planning, questions, etc. should be brought to them as you plan your event.
Full payment must be brought to the church one full week prior to the wedding, payable in two checks: one to the church and one to the pastor.
All fees are non-refundable at seven days prior to the wedding.
